I’m Katie, and this is my story.

At 31, my world flipped upside down. My relationship ended, my career took a new direction, and I found myself packing up for an out-of-state move—all while battling the most intense anxiety and burnout I’d ever experienced.

Change didn’t come naturally to me, but starting over turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. It taught me that even in the chaos, there’s room for growth, healing, and the chance to create a life that feels truly aligned.

For years, I poured my heart into building the life I thought I wanted, only to realize I was chasing someone else’s vision of success.

I spent nearly a decade in the nonprofit sector, saying yes to every request because I deeply believed in the mission and my team. But when things fell apart, I was the last person standing in a failing organization, relying on promises from people who ultimately let me down.

I thought a new job would fix everything—my burnout, disappointment, and exhaustion—but it only made things worse. I was running on fumes, barely sleeping four hours a night, and my anxiety was spilling into every corner of my life. No amount of yoga, long walks, or self-help podcasts could calm my nervous system. I tried everything to feel more rested: a new mattress, sleeping aids, and even a new apartment. Nothing worked.

It wasn’t until my relationship ended unexpectedly that everything clicked. For the first time, I felt crystal clear about what I needed: a fresh start. I closed that chapter, packed my bags, and moved to North Carolina to be closer to the people I love and finally build a life that felt completely my own.

It was the hardest, most liberating decision I’ve ever made—and it taught me that starting over isn’t just possible. Sometimes, it’s exactly what your soul needs.

I’m here to remind you that transformation is absolutely possible—and it doesn’t have to be flashy or overwhelming.

The small, intentional steps you take every day will bring you closer to the life you truly want—not the one others expect you to live. Together, we can move you closer to your purpose, your fulfillment, and your joy—one mindful step at a time.
